Intruder alarm systems are designed to ensure the safety of your physical assets. Not only will an intruder alarm act as a visual deterrent but when activated the siren will sound creating an audio deterrent element to your premises.

DETECTORS

PIR Detectors: reacts when a change of temperature passes through a background of fixed temperature. The alarm system will alert us when the detector measures a change in energy.

Best uses: residential without pets, small commercial office spaces

QUAD Detectors: utilises the same concept as a standard PIR however, the Quad detector has two sensors instead of one, giving it superior catch performance and reducing false alarms.

Tri-Tech/ PET Friendly Detectors: comprising of the same technology as a Quad detector, the added advantage of a Tri-Tech detector is it's Pet friendly technology which recognizes movements made by anything over 22kg.

MAGNETIC REED SWITCHES

Magnetic Reed Switches are used to protect storage spaces, garages and doors. A magnetic reed switch is a very effective way to protect an entrance. A sealed reed switch and magnet are paired together on either side of the protected entryway and when separates, the alarm panel is activated.
Best uses: any roller door (storage, garage, glass sliding door), residential back/ laundry doors and retail loading docks.

GLASS BREAK DETECTORS

Glass break security alarms work by responding to the sound or shockwave produced by glass breaking. The alarm is activated when the glass break unit recognises the distinct sound of glass breaking. It is important to note that equal coverage should be provided to all panes of glass to ensure maximum-security intruder detection.

HOLD UP BURGLAR ALARMS

This range of alarm components can include hold-up buttons, foot rails, money clips, and remote or panic buttons. All of these devices are kept in a discreet location; however BSM security can immediately request police attendance upon receiving a signal of this nature.
